December 13-14

We stayed home and tried to get organized for Christmas but Lynn and Charlie De La Torre had fun in FL where their boy Bryce (Rainyday's Great Ambition) picked up a WD/BOW win at an AKC show.

In Illinois, Debbie Hanson attended an AKC agility trial where her girl Marley (U-AGII Rainyday's Life On Mars AX XAJ OAC-O OJC-O NGC-O OGC PD AD JS-N RS-N CL1 CL2 CL3 CL4-R) earned two more legs on her MX. Way to go guys!

December 4-7

We went to Amarillo to the AKC show where  Merlot (MBIS MBISS AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's Red Red Wine) was BOB all four days. Merlot earned a Group One, Group Two and a Group Three. We also showed Henley (Rainyday's Take it to the Limit) over the weekend and she was RWB both days. Jennifer McNeely showed her puppy Petal (Rainyday's Forget-Me-Not) in the match and went BOB and Group Two.

In WA our Spark daughter  Victoria (AKC CH Pacific's Sweet Victorie) finished her ASCA championship with a four pt major win. Her littermate Scarlet (AKC/ASCA CH Pacific's Scarlet O'Hara) picked up a BOS win.

November 29-30

We stayed home this weekend but our friend Kari Brown had a blast at the Mesquite AKC show where her boy Indi (BIS UKC CH Rainyday's No Speed Limit OA OAJ RS-N NAC JS-N NJC GS-N NGC TN-N) was WD both days. Indi needs one major to finish his AKC championship.

In TN Jennifer McNeely showed her 6 month old puppy Petal (Rainyday's Forget-Me-Not) for the first time. Petal was 6 months old on Wednesday. Friday night Petal won BOB puppy at the AKC match and then went Group One and on to a BIS puppy! Over the weekend, Petal was WB/BOW/BOB both days at the AKC show for her first points. 

November 22-23

We went to the AKC show in Waco where we had a good time. On Saturday Henley (Rainyday's Take it to the Limit) was RWB. That night we did the puppy match where Poppy (Rainyday's Awesome Blossom) was BOB and on to a Group One. On Sunday Scarlet (ASCA CH Pacific's Scarlet O'Hara) was WB/BOW to complete her AKC championship! Scarlet will be headed home to WA soon where she will resume her ASCA specials career.

At the AKC agility trial, our girl Jane (AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's Life in the Fast Lane NA NAJ RS-N NAC) earned another leg on her OA with a third place win. 

In VA, Courtney Bell's Jane son Token (Rainyday's Reason to Believe) earned several RWD wins. 

November 15-16

We went to the Katy show where we had a great time. Scarlet (ASCA CH Pacific's Scarlet O'Hara) was WB/BOW on Sunday for a four pt major. Scarlet only needs 1 pt to finish her AKC championship and then she will return to WA where she will continue her ASCA specials career. Scarlet is currently ranked #4 in ASCA.

Meanwhile, in WA, our girl Toria (AKC CH Pacific's Sweet Victorie) was RWB to a three pt ASCA major on Saturday and WB/BOW/BOB over specials for a three pt ASCA major on Sunday. Toria will be returning to TX as soon as she finishes her ASCA championship -- she needs 3 single points.

In VA, Rainyday's Reason to Believe was WD/BOW both days for two more points. 11.5 month old Token is owned by Courtney Bell.

In OK, Kari Brown's boy Indi (Rainyday's No Speed Limit NA OAJ RS-N NAC JS-N NJC GS-N NGC TN-N), attended his second UKC show where he was WD/BOW/BOB and went on to a Best in Show (and completed his UKC championship)! The following day Indi won the breed. 

November  8-9

We stayed home this weekend and tried to get caught up on some things around the house! Kari Brown took her boy Indi (Rainyday's No Speed Limit NA OAJ RS-N NAC JS-N NJC GS-N NGC TN-N) to an ASCA show where he picked up a RWD and a WD/BOW for a three pt major!

In Illinois, Debbie Hanson's girl Marley (U-AGII Rainyday's Life On Mars AX XAJ OAC-O OJC-O NGC-O OGC PD JS-N RS-N CL1 CL2 CL3 CL4-R) completed her AD title. 

October 31 - November 2

We went to the three day AKC show in Tulsa, OK where we had a blast.  On Friday Indi (Rainyday's No Speed Limit NA OAJ RS-N NAC JS-N NJC GS-N NGC TN-N) was WD/BOS over the special, our Spark daughter Scarlet (ASCA CH Pacific's Scarlet O'Hara) was WB/BOW and Merlot (MBIS MBISS AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's Red Red Wine) was BOB and Group One.  On Saturday we went WD with our client dog (Cherl Morgan's boy Cowboy) for a three pt major to complete his championship. Scarlet (ASCA CH Pacific's Scarlet O'Hara) was WB/BOW and Merlot was BOS.  On Sunday, Indi (Rainyday's No Speed Limit NA OAJ RS-N NAC JS-N NJC GS-N NGC TN-N) was WD for a three pt major, Scarlet (ASCA CH Pacific's Scarlet O'Hara) was WB/BOW and Merlot was BOS. 

We also attended the eye clinic where Merlot (MBIS MBISS AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's Red Red Wine), Lark (AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday GirlsJusWannaHavFun), Jane (AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday Life in the Fast Lane NA NAJ RS-N NAC), Glory (Rainyday's Morning Glory) and Henley (Rainyday's Take it to the Limit) passed thei cerf exams with normal/normal eyes.

In PA, Lonni Berger's boy Zinger (Rainyday's Red Zinger CGC) picked up another RWD win. Also on the east coast, Spark's daughter Diva (Outlaw's Totally Devine) picked up a BOBp win. 

In WA, Toria (AKC CH Pacific's Sweet Victorie) was RWB to the major at both ASCA shows. 

October 25-26

We stayed home and caught up on rest after aiding Violet in the delivery of 8 healthy puppies. Please see our puppies page for more information.

October 18-19

We went down to Austin where Merlot (MBIS MBISS AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's Red Red Wine)  had a great weekend. She picked up two BOB wins with a Group One on Sunday.

In PA, Lonnie Berger's boy Zinger (Rainyday's Red Zinger CGC) won another WD/BOW. 

At the Lubbock agility trial, Cheryl Shutt's boy Casey (Rainyday's Fire in the Sky AX AXJ) earned 3 MXJ legs and 1 MX leg with 2 second place wins in Excellent B. They also got their first double Q and earned 56 more MACH points! Shella Barclay and her boy Sam (Rainyday's Samuel Adams NA NAJ) were at the same trial and completed Sam's OA and OAJ titles!

Kari Brown took Indi (Rainyday's No Speed Limit NA OAJ RS-N NAC JS-N NJC GS-N NGC TN-N) to his first UKC show where he was WD/BOW/BOB (over 4 specials) and then went on to win Reserve Best in Show!  Indi repeated his performance at the second show!

Tricia Clements also had great news. Her boy True (Rainyday's Love Me Do) was WD/BOW for TWO five pt majors this weekend to complete his AKC Championship! 

October 10-12

We headed over to the NM shows where we had a great time. On Friday night we attended the ASCA show where Donna Bybee's boy Sky (AKC CH Rainyday's Blue Sky Wrangler) was RWD to the 4 pt major and Merlot (MBIS MBISS AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's Red Red Wine) was BOB. Our puppies, Rainyday's Awesome Blossom and Rainyday's How Do You Like Me Now? were BOBp and BOSp. On Saturday and Sunday we went to the AKC show where Merlot was BOB both days and won a Group Four on Sunday. Sky was BOS both days.  On Sunday Scarlet (ASCA CH Pacific's Scarlet O'Hara) was RWB to a five pt major.

On the way home we heard great news from all over.  In OK, Kari Brown had a busy weekend in both agility and conformation. Her boy Indi (Rainyday's No Speed Limit NA OAJ RS-N NAC JS-N NJC GS-N NGC TN-N) was WD/BOW/BOS on Saturday. Indi also completed his OA title with a second place win. Kari also trialed our Jane (AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's Life in the Fast Lane NA RS-N NAC) and completed her NAJ title with a fourth place win. Jane moved up to open where she earned a leg towards her OAJ with a third place win, and also earned a  leg towards her OA. Shella Barclay and her boy Sam (Rainyday's Samuel Adams NA NAJ) attended the same trial and Sam earned a leg on his OA and a leg on his OAJ (with a first place win).  

In TX, Cheryl Shutt and her boy Casey (Rainyday's Fire in the Sky AX AXJ) attended an agility trial and Casey earned another MX leg and more MACH points! 

In PA, Lonni Berger and her boy Zinger (Rainyday's Red Zinger CGC) attended a one day AKC show where Zinger was WD/BOW. 

In IL, Debbie Hanson attended a CPE agility title where her girl Marley (U-AGII Rainyday's Life On Mars AX XAJ OAC-O OJC-O NGC-O OGC PD JS-N RS-N CL1 CL2 CL3 CL4-R) completed the level 4 titles and also her level 5 CL5-F title. Marley only needs 13 more legs for her CATCH title. There are only 25 or so dogs with CATCH titles so far, so this is pretty exciting for this team!  Debbie also ran her young girl, Remy (Rainyday's Remy Rouge CL1-F CL1H) and earned 4 Q's in 5 runs! 

In ME, Thom and Mary Lambert's Spark (AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's I'm On Fire HT) daughter, Can CH Peppertree's Fire N Ice PT, attended her first ASCA herding trial where she earned her STDs!  

October 4-5

We went to the AKC show in NM where we had a good time. On Friday and Sunday Merlot (MBIS MBISS AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's Red Red Wine) was BOS. On Saturday Merlot was BOB and went on to a Group One.  This was our first weekend with Scarlet (ASCA CH Pacific's Scarlet O'Hara) and she was RWB on Sunday.

Cheryl Shutt and her boy Casey (Rainyday's Fire in the Sky AX AXJ) attended the McKinney agility trial where Casey earned two MX legs fourth and fifth place wins. He also earned 27 more MACH points! Kari Brown attended this same trial and eanred 2 NAJ legs on our girl Jane (AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's Life in the Fast Lane NA RS-N NAC)

September 25-28

We missed ASCA nationals this year but hear that it was wonderful! Arthur (AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's Copy Me to Peppertree) won a Premier award at one of the pre-shows and also at Nationals! 17 month old Arthur is owned by Sheila Hall.    Marley (U-AGII Rainyday's Life On Mars AX XAJ OAC-O OJC-O NGC-O OGC PD JS-N RS-N CL1 CL2 CL3 CL4-R) earned her RV-O, JV-O and GV-N at nationals with 3 first place and one second place wins! Marley is owned and trained/trialed by Debbie Hanson. 

We attended the four day Lubbock AKC show where we had a blast.  On Thursday, Donna Bybee's boy Sky (Rainyday's Blue Sky Wrangler) was WD, Merlot (BIS MBISS AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's Red Red Wine) was BOS and Cooper (AKC CH Rainyday's Tinsel Town) was BOB. On Friday Merlot and Cooper repeated their wins. Saturday things greatly improved! Sky was WD to finish his AKC championship and his littermate Indi (Rainyday's No Speed Limit NA OAJ RS-N NAC JS-N NJC GS-N NGC TN-N) was RWD. Scarlet (ASCA CH Pacific's Scarlet O'Hara) was WB/BOW. This weekend was Scarlet's first AKC show! Scarlet was handled by her breeder, Deborah Hendrickson, who was here visiting from WA.  Cooper was BOS and Merlot was BOB and on to a Group One.

Sunday proved to be the highlight of the weekend. Indi was WD and Cooper was BOS. Merlot went BOB and then on to a Group One and then walked away with BEST IN SHOW!  Merlot is only the third bitch in breed history to win more than one All Breed Best in Show!  We are VERY excited!

September 20-21

We stayed home again this weekend, but Indi (Rainyday's No Speed Limit NA OAJ RS-N NAC JS-N NJC) and Jane (AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's Life in the Fast Lane NA) attended an ASCA/NADAC trial where they had a blast! Jane earned her RS-N/NAC with 3 Q's, a third place, a second place, and a first place! Indi earned his GS-N/NGC and his TN-N with multiple first and second place wins!  Indi is owned by Kari Brown who also trains and trials Jane for us!

September 6-7

We went over to Roswell for an AKC show where we had a great time.  Merlot (BIS/MBISS AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's Red Red Wine) was BOB both days and picked up a Group Two on Saturday. Merlot is currently ranked in the top five in AKC in very limited showing.  Donna Bybee's boy Sky (Rainyday's Blue SKy Wrangler) picked up WD/BOW/BOS wins both days. Sky only needs three singles to finish his AKC championship! Our puppy Henley (Rainyday's Take it to the Limit) was RWB both days. Henley has been shown 4 days and has 4 RWB wins. In other areas... Courtney Bell and her boy Token (Rainyday's Reason to Believe) were WD on Saturday and WD/BOW on Sunday. This young boy is on his way!  

New just in from overseas: Spark's (AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's I'm On Fire HT) daughter Sheila (Peppertree's Donna Machiavelli)  attended the VDH Australian Shepherd specialty this weekend and was WB/BOB over champions for her first leg towards her VDH championship in Germany! The judge was a Swiss breeder-judge named Regula Seiler. Sheila was bred by Sheila Hall of Peppertree and is out of ASCA/AKC Ch Windogo's Mystique of Shalako STDs. She is owned by Monika Batsch.

August 30-31

We stayed home again but are hearing great news from all over. In Washington state, Deborah Hendrickson was BOB at the ASCA show with her Spark (AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's I'm On Fire HT DNA-CP) daughter ASCA CH Pacific's Scarlet O'Hara. In Maine, Thom and Mary Lambert's Spark daughter CAN CH Peppertree's Fire N Ice earned her PT at her first trial! In VA, Courtney Bell's nine month old puppy Token (Rainyday's Reason to Believe) was WD/BOW/BOB over two specials at his second show!  Courtney and Token went on to a Group Three! Here in TX, Cheryl Shutt's boy Rainyday's Fire In The Sky OA AXJ completed his AX and earned a leg on his MXJ and points towards his MACH. Also in TX, our girl Jane (AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's Life in the Fast Lane NA) attended her first ASCA/NADAC trial where she earned 15 points towards her RS-N/NAC titles and placed third on her second run. Jane then decided to come into season and is missing the remainder of the weekend.  Kari Brown's boy Indi (Rainyday's No Speed Limit RS-N NAC JS-N NJC NA OAJ) ran for the first time in open and earned a leg and first place in Open Jumpers. He also earned points towards his Gamblers and Tunnelers titles. Stay tuned for more news as it trickles in! 

August 23-24

We stayed home, but we hear that True (Rainyday's Love Me Do) was RWD all weekend in KS. True is owned by Tricia Clements and is currently playing the role of Reserve King. He only needs his majors to finish! 

August 15-17

We went down to College Station for an ASCA show. Our boy Perro (AKC CH Rainyday's Perro Rojo) picked up a RWD to the major, Toria, (AKC CH Pacific's Sweet Victorie) earned three RWB wins (to majors) and Merlot (BIS MBISS AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's Red Red Wine) earned two BOB wins. Spark's son Torch (AKC/ASCA CH Shalako's Thrill to Remember) picked up a BOS win. Torch was bred by Shelley Hollen and is owned by Patsy King.  Also this weekend, Spark's daughter Icee (Peppertree's Fire N Ice) completed her Canadian championship by winning BOB and a Group Three! Icee was bred by Sheila Hall and is owned by Thom and Mary Lambert. 

August 9-10

After a few weeks off, we went down to Corpus Christi with Henley (Rainyday's Take it to the Limit) and Merlot (BIS MBISS AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's Red Red Wine). This was Henley's first show and we were very pleased when our little girl went RWB both days from the 6-9 class.  Merlot won the breed both day and also won two Group Ones.  In Florida, Charlie and Lynn De La Torre's young boy Bryce (Rainyday's Great Ambition) picked up a RWD win to a major at a local ASCA show. 

July 18-19

We went down to the big summer show in Houston for two days and had a great time. On Friday, Perro (Rainyday's Perro Rojo) was WD/BOW for two pts. On Saturday Perro was WD for a four pt major (one dog shy of five pts) to finish his AKC championship! Also on Saturday, Merlot (BIS MBISS AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's Red Red Wine) was BOB and went on to a Group Two.  Kari Brown's boy Indi (Rainyday's No Speed Limit NA NAJ NAC RS-N JS-N NJC) earned two legs (and two second place ribbons) to complete his OAJ title.  Kari also ran our girl Jane (AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's Life in the Fast Lane). This was Jane's first trial, after only 11 weeks of training, and she earned all three legs on her NA and even won a first and a fourth place ribbon!  In CA, Arleen Meininger took her 7 month old Jane son Baker (Rainyday's Desperado) to his first show where he was RWD on Sat and WD on Sunday! In FL Lynn De La Torre showed her boy Rainyday's Great Ambition to his first points!

July 10-13

We went to San Antonio for the big summer shows where we had a blast! We showed only Perro Rojo and Merlot, so it was a relatively quiet weekend.  On Thursday Perro Rojo (Rainyday's Perro Rojo) was WD/BOS over specials to earn a three pt major. Merlot (BIS/MBISS AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's Red Red Wine) was BOB and on to a Group Three. On Friday, Perro repeated his WD win -- this time for another three pt major and Merlot was BOB.  On Saturday Perro was not only WD, but BOW and earned a four pt major. Cooper (AKC CH Rainyday's Tinsel Town) was BOS and Merlot was BOB and on to a Group Three. On Sunday Perro broke his streak with RWD to the major, Cooper was BOS and Merlot was BOB and on to a Group Two in a particularly tough group. 

July 4-6

We went down to Hutto to the ASCA show where we had a wonderful time. On Friday night, in his ASCA debut, Rainyday's Perro Rojo won a 4 pt major! Merlot (BIS MBISS AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's Red Red Wine) was BOB. Spark's son AKC/ASCA CH Shalako's Thrill to Remember was BOS.  Torch was bred by Shelley Hollen and is owned by Patsy King. On Saturday, at the first show, Victoria (AKC CH Pacific's Sweet Victorie) was WB/BOW for a four pt major and Merlot repeated her BOB win. In the afternoon, Victoria was WB/BOW for a five pt major and Merlot was again BOB. We also showed our dear AKC CH/ASCA A-CH Cobbercrest Rainyday's Folly NA CGC in Veterans on Saturday. Nine year old Folly was recently diagnosed with an untreatable cancer and we were excited to get her in the ring -- the chance to parade around for applause really lifted our girl's feelings. On Sunday, Perro and Victoria were RWD and RWB and Merlot was again BOB.  We hear that Victoria's littermate, ASCA CH Pacific's Scarlet O'Hara had a wonderful weekend as well. 14 month old Scarlet was BOB and BOS (over 18 specials) during her debut as a special! Scarlet and Victoria were bred by Deborah Hendrickson.

June 28-29

We stayed home again this weekend but we hear that Rainyday dogs had fun in Florida. At the Orlando ASCA show, Gib (Rainyday's Revolution) had his show debut in the 2-4 class. Gib won his class of five and then went on to BOSp with an entry of 14 puppies. Gib is owned by Sue Bachtold. Not to be outdone by the young upstart, Gib's "sister" Olivia (Rainyday's Penny Lane) also had her show debut -- in the altered classes. Olivia was RWB to the major. Not a bad way to start out! Olivia is also owned by Sue Bachtold. 

June 21-22

We stayed home this weekend but we had wonderful news from the College Station ASCA show. Sheila Hall's 14 month old boy Arthur (AKC CH Rainyday's Copy Me At Peppertree) was WD/BOW at the first show on Sat, WD at the second show and WD/BOW on Sunday for three five pt majors to earn his ASCA championship. We are very proud of Sheila and her young guy!

June 14-15

We went to the Texarkana show where we had a great time. Merlot (BIS MBISS AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's Red Red Wine) was BOB both days. On Saturday Merlot went on to a Group Two and on Sunday she won the Group. Our lovely Spark (AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's I'm On Fire HT) daughter Victoria, (Pacific's Sweet Victorie) was WB/BOW on Sunday for a 4 pt major to finish her AKC championship. Also on Sunday, AKC CH Rainyday's Tinsel Town was BOS. In other arenas, Rainyday's Samuel Adams NAJ attended his second agility trial where he completed his NA title. Sam is owned by Shella Barclay -- way to go guys!

June 7-8

We stayed home and enjoyed time with the dogs. However, in Washington, Deborah Hendrickson's red tri girl Scarlet (Pacific's Scarlet O'Hara) was WB/BOW/BOS both days at the ASCA show where she completed her ASCA championship! This lovely Spark (AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's I'm On Fire HT) daughter is a littermate to our visiting Victoria (Pacific's Sweet Victorie).

May 31-June 1

We stayed home and enjoyed time at home with the dogs. However, in MA, Rainyday's Country Boy CGC went to a two day herding test where he earned not only his HC, but high praises from the instructor. Six month old Dash is owned by Donna Killam. 

May 23-26

We did the Shawnee, OK show where we had a great time. On Friday we only showed Merlot (BIS BISS AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's Red Red Wine) and she was BOB. On Saturday, Merlot repeated her BOB win and placed third in the Group, AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's I'm On Fire HT was BOS and Pacific's Sweet Victorie was RWB.  That evening I showed Perro (Rainyday's Perro Rojo) in the puppy sweepstakes (173 puppies entered) and he not only went BOB, but took a Group One! On Sunday Spark (AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's I'm On Fire HT) was BOB and Merlot was BOS. On Monday Merlot was BOB, Perro RWD and Toria RWB. 

In other areas of competition, Rainyday's Fire in the Sky OA AXJ earned another leg on his AX title with another first place ribbon! Casey is owned by Cheryl Shutt.  Shella Barclay's young boy Sam (Rainyday's Samuel Adams) attended his first agility trial where he earned his NAJ and a leg on his NA title! Way to go Sam!  In Illinois, Debbie Hanson's girl Marley earned another leg on her MXJ! 

May 16

We did one day at the San Angelo AKC show where Perro (Rainyday's Perro Rojo) had his show debut. Perro was WD! He is the third of the three dogs in his litter to make his AKC debut, and the third to go WD his first time out On Saturday AKC CH  Rainyday's Tinsel Town was BOS and on Sunday he was BOB. Cooper is owned by Sherry Green. 

May 10-11

We went to the Denton, AKC show where we had an exciting weekend. On Saturday, Rainyday's Copy Me to Peppertree was WD/BOS for a four pt major to finish his AKC championship. 13 month old Arthur belongs to Sheila Hall. On Sunday, Rainyday's Blue Sky Wrangler was WD/BOW for a four pt major and his littermate Rainyday's No Speed Limit NA NAJ RS-N JS-N NJC NAC was RWD. AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's I'm On Fire HT was BOS.  Sky is owned by Donna Bybee, and Indi by Kari Brown. In other states... Spark's daughter Flair (Shalako's Dressed to Thrill) picked up her first AKC points in LA. Flair is bred and owned by Shelly Hollen. Spark's daughter Scarlet (Pacific's Scarlet O'Hara) was WB/BOW/BOS for an ASCA major in Washington. Scarlet is bred and owned by Deborah Hendrickson.  Also in Washington, Rainyday's Warp Speed Ahead attended his first show (ASCA) where he was BOBP. Archer is owned by Julie and Aaron Van Fleet. In KS, Tricia Clements' boy True (Rainyday's Love Me Do) picked up another RWD win. True is well on his way to his AKC championship. Congrats to everyone!

May 3-4

We stayed home, but were able to attend the agility trial in Lubbock where we cheered as Casey (Rainyday's Fire in the Sky OA OAJ)  completed his AXJ with two more first place runs! Casey is owned and trained by Cheryl Shutt -- what a wonderful team they make! We also heard that in MA, Rainyday's Country Boy earned his CGC. Dash is 5 months old and is owned and loved by Donna Killam. This is undoubtedly the first of many titles for this talented youngster. 

April 26-27

We went down to Big Springs where Victoria (Pacific's Sweet Victorie) was WB/BOW on Satruday. Merlot was BOS and Cooper (AKC CH Rainyday's Tinsel Town) was BOB and won the group. On Sunday Victoria was WB/BOW/BOS, Rainyday's Blue Sky Wrangler, owned by Donna Bybee, was WD, and Cooper was BOB.  In other states, Zinger (Rainyday's Red Zinger) attended his first AKC show where he was WD/BOW/BOB over the special on Friday and RWD to a five pt major on Sunday. What a great start! Zinger is owned by Lonni Berger. Venture (AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's Joint Venture NA NAJ HIC) was BOB at an ASCA show. Venture is owned by Kim Waller and Kathy O'Malley. 

April 18-21

We went to Shreveport where we had a great time. On Friday we showed Victoria, Merlot and Spark.  Victoria was WB for a three pt major, Spark was BOB and Merlot was BOS. On Saturday Victoria repeated her WB win for another three pt major. AKC CH Rainyday's Tinsel Town was BOS. On Sunday Glory (Rainyday's Morning Glory) was WB, Arthur (Rainyday's Copy Me At Peppertree) was RWD, Merlot (BIS BISS AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's Red Red Wine) was BOB and Group Two and Spark (AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's I'm on Fire HT) was BOS. On Monday Merlot repeated her BOB win and then won the group. AKC CH Rainyday's Tinsel Town was BOS. In other states, Cinder (Rainyday's FairyTale Princess) attended her second AKC show where she was RWB. Cinder is owned by Cheryl Morgan and Kathy O'Malley. 

April 10-11

We stayed home but Rainyday dogs had a great weekend! At the McKinney agility trial, Rainyday's Fire in the Sky OA OAJ picked up legs on his AX and AXJ with two first place ribbons. Casey is owned by Cheryl Shutt. At the same trial, AKC CH Rainyday's Ruby Tuesday CD OA OAJ RS-O OAC JS-N NJC HIC picked up legs on her AX and AXJ with two fourth place ribbons. Not to be outdone, her son, Indi (Rainyday's No Speed Limit RS-N NAC JS-N NJC NAJ) picked up his NA title! Indi is owned by Kari Brown. In Missouri, AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's Joint Venture HIC earned his NA and his NAJ with first place wins! Venture is owned by Kim Waller and Kathy O'Malley. And...in conformation, AKC CH Rainyday's Tinsel Town was BOB both days at the Stephenville show. Cooper is owned by Sherry Green.

April 3-6

We went up to KS to the fourth annual Greater Wichita Australian Shepherd Club's Regional Specialty where Merlot (BIS MBISS AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's Red Red Wine) was BOB! This was Merlot's third specialty breed win (in 4 shows).  On Saturday, Pacific's Sweet Victorie was RWB to the 5 pt major. In other states, Cooper (AKC CH Rainyday's Tinsel Town) picked up a Group One in TX while Ruby (AKC CH Rainyday's Ruby Tuesday CD RS-N JS-N OA OAJ NAC NJC HIC) finished her RS-O and OAC titles! Ruby's son Indi (Rainyday's No Speed Limit RS-N NAC NAJ) finished his JS-N and NJC titles! Cooper is owned by Sherry Green, Indi is owned by Kari Brown,  and Ruby is trained and trialed by Kari Brown. Cheryl Shutt's Casey (Rainyday's Fire in the Sky OA OAJ) attended the same agility trial where he ran in his first two ASCA/NADAC runs and qualified for two legs on his RS-N/NAC titles!

March 29-30

We went down to Bryan where we had a great time. Merlot (BIS MBISS AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's Red Red Wine) was BOB both days with a Group One on Saturday and a Group Three on Sunday. This was Merlot's fifth group one in a row. On Sunday, Arthur (Rainyday's Copy Me at Peppertree) was WD/BOW/BOS over a special to pick up another 2 pts. Arthur was a year old on Saturday and needs a three pt major to finish. In other states, Arthur's littermate Zinger (Rainyday's Red Zinger) went to his first show (ASCA) where he was RWD to the major. Arthur is owned by Sheila Hall and Zinger by Lonni Berger.  In Illinois, Debbie Hanson's stellar girl Marley (U-AGII Rainyday's Life On Mars AX XAJ OAC-O OJC-O NGC-O OGC PD JS-N RS-N CL1 CL2 CL3 CL4-R) picked up legs on her MX and MXJ titles!

March 22-23

We went over to Dallas where Tori (Pacific's Sweet Victorie) won the Puppy Sweepstakes hosted by the Dallas Ft Worth Australian Shepherd Club and judged by breeder judge Linda Wilson. Ruby (AKC CH Rainyday's Ruby Tuesday ASCA CD RS-N JS-N OA OAJ NAC NJC HIC) tried AKC obedience for the first time and qualified with a 191. Ruby is trained and trialed by Kari Brown. On Monday AKC CH Rainyday's Tinsel Town was BOB and on to a Group One. Cooper is owned by Sherry Green.  Also on Monday, Lucy (ASCA CH Rainyday's Havin' A Ball) was WB/BOW/BOS over a special to finish her AKC championship! Lucy is owned by Della and Harvey Brock.

March 15-16

We took the weekend off for a much needed rest! In Dallas, Kari Brown took Indi (Rainyday's No Speed Limit NAJ RS-N NAC) to an ASCA show where he was RWD to a three pt major. 

March 7-9

We headed down to San Antonio for three days. On Friday we only had Merlot (BIS MBISS AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's Red Red Wine) entered and she was BOB and on to a Group One. Sheila Hall's pup Arthur (Rainyday's Copy Me At Peppertree) was RWD. On Saturday Arthur was WD/BOW/BOS over specials for a four pt major from the 9-12 class, and Merlot repeated her BOB and Group One wins. Merlot has been shown 4 days in 2003 and has 4 Group Ones! On Sunday Arthur and Merlot took the day off. Victoria (Pacific's Sweet Victorie) was WB/BOS.

In other areas of competition, Cheryl Shutt's Rainyday's Fire in the Sky OA NAJ completed his OAJ title and had 6/6 clean runs; Kari Brown's Rainyday's No Speed Limit RS-N NAC completed his NAJ and our Ruby (AKC CH Rainyday's Ruby Tuesday CD RS-N JS-N OA NAJ NAC NJC HIC) completed her OAJ! In addition to the TX dogs, Debbie Hanson's girl Marley ( Marley (U-AGII Rainyday's Life On Mars AX XAJ OAC-O OJC-O NGC-O OGC JS-N RS-N CL1 CL2 CL3 CL4-R) earned her Performance Dog I title in a USDAA trial! 

March 1-2

We went to Wichita Falls to the AKC show where we had a great time. On Saturday, Victoria (Pacific's Sweet Victorie) was WB/BOS, Glory (Rainyday's Morning Glory) was RWB and Spark (AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's I'm On Fire HT) was BOB and went on to a Group Four. On Sunday Spark repeated his breed win and then went on to a Group One!  Also on Sunday, Donna Bybee's Sky (Rainyday's Blue Sky Wrangler) was WD!

In other areas, Spark's daughter (and Victoria's littermate), Pacific's Scarlet O'Hara, picked up a five pt ASCA major! Way to go Scarlet!

At the ASCA agility trial, our Ruby, (AKC CH Rainyday's Ruby Tuesday CD OA NAJ RS-N JS-N NAC NJC HIC) picked up a ten pt leg on her RS-O and OAC titles.  

February 22-23

We went to the Hutto ASCA show where we had a great time.  On Saturday, at the first show, Rainyday's Copy Me to Peppertree was RWD from the 9-12 class and AKC CH Rainyday's I'm No Angel was RWB from the BBX class. At the second show Mae West (AKC CH Rainyday's I'm No Angel) was WB/BOW for a five pt major. At the Sunday show Mae West finished her championship with another five pt major and Rainyday's Morning Glory was RWB.

In other areas... AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's Joint Venture HIC was BOB two days of an ASCA show. Venture is owned by Kim Waller and Kathy O'Malley. Venture pups were BOBp and BOSp. 

In other events, U-ACH Rainyday's Life On Mars OA OAJ OAC-O OJC-O NGC-O OGC JS-N RS-N CL1 CL2 CL3 CL4-R completed her AX and her AXJ titles!! Marley is proudly owned, trained and shown by Debbie Hanson. Way to go guys!

February 8-11  

While we were in NY for Westminster, three Rainyday dogs had a blast at a TX agility trial.  Rainyday's Fire in the Sky NA NAJ, owned by Cheryl Shutt, finished his OA. AKC CH Rainyday's Ruby Tuesday CD NA NAJ RS-N JS-N NJC NAC HIC, owned by Rainyday and trained and trialed by Kari Brown, finished her OA with a first place and a second place Q. Ruby also earned two legs on her OAJ with second and third place wins. Ruby's son Indi (Rainyday's No Speed Limit RS-N NAC) earned a leg on his NAJ with a third place win. Indi is owned, trained and trialed by Kari Brown. 

We had a wonderful time in NY. On Monday Merlot (BIS MBISS AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's Red Red Wine) and Kate appeared on The Today Show where Merlot and Matt shared a few private moments over cookies. On Tuesday Merlot won her second BOS award at the Garden. This was her second trip and she had a blast! 

February 1-2

We went over to Hobbs where we had a great time. Glory (Rainyday's Morning Glory) was WB on Sat and WB/BOW on Sunday, Spark (AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's I'm On Fire HT) was BOS both days and Merlot (BIS BISS AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's Red Red Wine) was BOB both days and had two Group Ones! What a great warm up for the garden! In other states, we hear the Tricia Clements was WD with her boy True (Rainyday's Love Me Do) and that Michelle Gullet's boy Billy (AKC/UKC CH Rainyday's Achy Breaky Heart CGC) picked up a 5 pt ASCA major with a WD/BOS win.  In Illinois, Debbie Hanson's Marley picked up a leg on her Excellent Jumper's title! Way to go guys!

January 25-26  

We went down to Abilene where we had a great time with friends. Our Glory (Rainyday's Morning Glory) was RWB both days.

January 18-19  

We stayed home but we hear that Tricia Clements had a good weekend -- she picked up a WD/BOW win on her boy True (Rainyday's Love Me Do).

January 10-13  

We stayed home, but in other news, Kari Brown's Indi (Rainyday's No Speed Limit) picked up a five pt ASCA major (WD/BOW) under breeder judge Jana Peterson. This same night, Sheila Hall's Lily (AKC CH Rainyday's Tiger Lily) was WB/BOS over specials for a five pt major. Lily was RWB to the major the next day. Spark's (AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's I'm On Fire HT) son Torch (AKC CH Shalako's Thrill To Remember) was WD two days of the weekend for five pt majors to complete his ASCA championship. Torch was bred by Shelley Hollen and is owned by Patsy King. Congratulations to everyone!

January 4-5  

We went to Glen Rose where Glory (Rainyday's Morning Glory) was RWB to the major on Saturday and Spark (AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's I'm On Fire HT) was BOS on Sunday.
