We heard from Linda Grant that Bruce and Elki
(Rainyday's C Ya at Da Top CGC) completed their HSAs this weekend! Elki is
only 16 months old and owner trained/trialed! Way to go guys!
We also got a great note from Danielle Pugh about her weekend
with Toby Keith (A-BISS
A-CH Rainyday's Howdoyoulikemenow? AKC/ASCA CD RA OA OAJ RS-O JS-E GS-E NAC NCC
NJC TG-N WV-N), Jackson (SVCH PCH
WTCH AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's Remember When AKC/ASCA CDX RE OA AXJ RS-E JS-E
GS-E-OP EAC NCC NJC TG-O WV-N TN-N HSAcs RTDs) and Tucker
(A-CH Rainyday's You Just Watch Me NA RS-O JS-O GS-N NAC TG-N TN-N):
My mom and I went to College Station and competed
in a three day NADAC trial. Our boys had a great weekend.
Jackson was 12 of 16 and finished his EAC (elite agility certificate, and got
two legs towards his NATCH), TG-O (open touch and go), TN-N (novice tunnelers) and,
drum roll please.....OUR NOVICE JUMPERS TITLE!!!! We actually got a gimme
today in jumpers. Jackson started running and knocked the first and third
bars so I was getting ready to walk him off the course, but the judge was
yelling at me to come over and talk to her. She thought it was a misprint
that Jackson was in Novice (Jackson qualified under her in both elite regular
runs the day before) and since she had started yelling at me to stop, she let me
restart and run over. Needless to say, this time he kept the bars up and
finally got that third leg to finish his title.
Tucker had a good weekend and finished three titles, his NAC (novice regular),
TG-N (novice touch and go) and TN-N (novice tunnelers).
Toby Keith was only entered in a few runs and ended the weekend with a Q in Open
Regular (now has 2.5 towards OAC), a Q in novice tunnelers (2nd of 3 needed) and
a Q in Open Touch and Go (1st of 3).
Hope everyone else had a good weekend :)

And in more exciting news, we had a note from Laura Baar.
Laura's boy Tony (Rainyday's Make My
Heart Sing) had his AKC obedience debut this weekend and earned 2 legs with
scores of 190 and 191! Way to go guys!
We also had great news from Betty Harrill in WA. She has a
darling Spark (AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's I'm
On Fire HT) daughter bred by our good friend Linda Buell of Woodstock
Australian Shepherds. Betty wrote:
Hello Kate & Linda,
just passing on the good news on Dorothy: She showed at Graham WA Fri
& Sat. These are our large shows for the year. She took WB 5 pt
Fri a.m. and WB/BOW/BOB 5 pt Fri p.m. I counted an entry of 80 intact
dogs/bitches with at ~20 specials so it was a very nice win for her.
She just needs a point to finish. Keep your fingers crossed for her.
I'll send pix when available.
Have a great weekend!

June 27-29
We went down to the College Station ASCA show where we had a
great time. Danielle and Dorinda Pugh sent their special boy Toby
Keith (A-BISS A-CH Rainyday's Howdoyoulikemenow? AKC/ASCA CD RA OA OAJ RS-O JS-E
GS-E NAC NCC NJC TG-N WV-N) down for us to show. Toby Keith earned three
A-BOB wins. We also picked up a BOB and a BOS on our Mimi
(AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's Time After Time) and our new little girl Charlie
(Rainyday's Playin With the Boys) was WB/BOW for a five pt major from the
6-9 class! Our client bitch Snow (Po's Look at Me) also picked up a RWB win. Not
a bad weekend at all :-)
