What a weekend! We went to the ASCA show in Rendon and had a fantastic time. It was Charlie's (ASCA CH Rainyday's Playin With The Boys) first weekend out as an ASCA special and she had a fabulous time. In 6 shows, Charlie earned 1 BOB and 5 BOS wins. This earned her enough points that she scored an Alternate Invitation to the ASCA Nationals! Not bad for one weekend! I also had the incredible honor of showing Toby Keith (A-MBISS A-CH Rainyday's How Do You Like Me Now? AKC/ASCA CD AKC/ASCA RA OA OAJ RS-E JS-E GS-E NJP NAP NAC NJC NCC TG-N WV-N CGC)  for Dorinda and Danielle Pugh. Toby Keith won 4 A-BOB wins for about 60 points!  I also had the chance to put a 3 pt major on Aadi (Rainyday's She Bop). Aadi is co-owned by Star Mathis. I also showed Chip (Rainyday's One Red Hot Chipotle AKC RA ASCA RN) for David and Vicki Telles. Chip was A-WD on Sunday and A-WD/BOW on Monday. He now has 8 pts, 1 major. Laurie Reeter-Brown's special girl Elliot had her conformation debut. She was shown twice and won A-RWB to the major. Danielle Pugh did a great job handling Elliot in conformation. Laurie showed her in agility and picked up 1.5 RS-E legs. Danielle Pugh and Trace (ASCA CH Rainyday's I Got My Game On AKC/ASCA CD AKC RE ASCA RA RS-E JS-E GS-O STDs) qualified in Excellent B rally with a second place to finish his RE. Reva (Rainyday's Sierra Sunrise AKC RE CL1 CL2 CL3-H CL-3S CL3-F GS-N JS-N CGC) had a great time at the ASCA Show. She earned 2 Novice ASCA Rally legs, Novice Regular and Open Gamblers Agility Titles, and even an Elite Jumpers leg to put frosting on the cake. So she is on a roll. No stopping this girl now. ASCA Trials aren't that common around here, so lots of traveling ahead. In 2012 the ASCA Nationals will only be a 4 or so hour drive away. Can't wait. Hope everyone else had a great weekend also.

Great news from Danielle Pugh:

Jackson only showed Saturday and picked up his second RM (Rally Masters) leg, 2 Best Veterans and a BOS win. Toby Keith picked up 3 A-BOB wins for about 30 points. We are proud of these boys, but Trace was the star this weekend. On Saturday, he finished his RA (Rally Advanced) with a first place, earned his first RE (Rally Excellent) leg and was RWD to the major. On Sunday, he earned another RE leg and went WD/BOW/BOB over three specials for a 5 pt major!

January 8-9

Danielle Pugh and her boy Jackson picked up two RAE legs with several first place wins at the AKC show in Glen Rose, TX this weekend. Jackson needs one more leg to complete the title!
